Namaste!
A key driving vision to establish Rashtram School of Public Leadership is to nurture public leaders who can thrive and lead humanity through the VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world. Incidentally, such a VUCA situation has been forced upon us in the form of the pandemic. It has put all of us under duress. While we are facing such a severe health crisis, we are also compelled to battle the mental stress this has caused us. Truly, there cannot be a greater example of a volatile and ambiguous situation. The planning of even simple things for a day or a week in advance is now mired in uncertainty.
At Rashtram, we hold the wellbeing of our learners and faculty to be of utmost importance. This is always the primary consideration in our decision making.
We are hopeful that this second wave will abate, particularly with the vaccination drive to include everyone above 18 years of age. As long as the government or the UGC does not mandate the closing of campuses, we will start the programme on 05-July-2021. We have planned to ensure the safest possible environment for the Rashtram Accelerator & MAPL cohort. We have instituted a protocol to keep the Rashtram campus safe and COVID free.
The protocol might be periodically amended or updated according to guidelines issued by the government or the UGC.
The protocol applies to everyone involved with the Rashtram Accelerator Programme, arriving from outside Sonipat. It is pertinent to note that since food and accommodation are managed within the campus, there are as few points of interactions with outsiders as possible. Additionally, our cohort size is limited. All of these factors ensure a low possibility of transmission. Therefore all our learners and family members can be reassured that we are doing everything possible that the campus is safe and hygienic.
We encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns at namaste@rashtram.org.
