Position Summary

Perform a variety of duties for the recruitment and selection of applicants for admission to Rashtram. The individual will be responsible for a key function at Rashtram – intake of India’s best talent committed to serving the nation through various roles in public leadership.

Work Performed 

  1. Build working relationships with organisations and institutions who can be the potential employers for the students of Rashtram
  2. Develop insights about the job market through primary and secondary research and help the top leadership prepare corresponding operations strategy 
  3. Be the guide and solution provider to the students of the RSLP. This will also include taking charge of the capacity building of the talent to face the recruitment process. 
  4. Keep a track of opportunities which may be aligned to the aspirations of the students and prepare effective strategies to successfully achieve the targets.
  5. Counselling learners with personal and/or academic problems related to their placements, and assisting learners/employers experiencing placement difficulties. This requires specialist knowledge of recruitment criteria, the capacity to assess learners’ abilities and profiles, and sensitivity to learners’ personal circumstances.
  6. Advising companies on choice of candidates, arranging interviews (or coordinating recruitment process), and facilitating the engagement discussion once the selection is done with the purpose of meeting the needs of the employer and the student. This requires initiative, planning and tenacity, plus a high degree of understanding of a range of leadership functions and the content of the academic programmes.
  7. Create and maintain a database of Alumni, their present position and recruiting organizations.
  8. Arrange for expert lectures and workshops by industry professionals
  9. Collect feedback from organizations coming for placement 
  10. Contributing to the preparation of placement brochures, handbooks and other literature for the institution
  11. Perform related duties as may be assigned. 

 

 

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  2. Research, data analysis and report writing
  3. A perspective for institutional development
  4. A critical analysis of the requirements of skills in the job market and the skills supplied through school’s programs
  5. Monitor, develop, and allocate assigned budgets
  6. Networking within the community to publicize and promote offerings of the institution 
  7. Relate effectively with people from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds 

 

 

Training, Mindset and Experience preferred:

Any combination of training and experience related to human resource development or capacity building of human capital will be preferred. Educational degree equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree in Business or any area of Human Resources or development management will be appropriate. Professional experience of two years in human resource development or organisation growth will be required. An attitude of bringing change through people development will be an added advantage.

Compensation: Rs. 50,000-70,000 per month

MANAGER - ADMISSIONS

The Marketing and Communications team is the face of Rashtram. The team puts in their best efforts to get learners with the highest leadership potential into our programmes. Rashtram’s success is built on the outcomes of this team. As one of the most external-facing teams, it builds the Rashtram brand nationally and globally.

Work Performed 

  1. Process and analyse applications of prospective students utilizing Rashtram admissions standards, guidelines and criteria; submit evaluations and recommendations to the Sr. Manager (Marketing) regarding admissibility of applicants.
  2. Correspond with prospective students and others seeking information about Rashtram programmes following established procedures.
  3. Conduct interviews of prospective students.
  4. Conduct info sessions across the country and webinars with prospective students
  5. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

 

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  1. 2 years of professional experience 
  2. A Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree in any field
  3. Strong presentation and persuasion skills
  4. Ability to deeply listen and communicate effectively in speaking & writing 
  5. Ability to build relationships and invest others in our work internally and externally 
  6. Strategic planning – planning and executing recruitment campaigns/engagements
  7. Strong goal orientation and ability to meet targets/deadlines
  8. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English are mandatory.
  9. Excellent project management skills

 

 

 Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  1. Ability to analyse and interpret data 
  2. Ability to build and lead teams 
  3. In-depth knowledge of the Rashtram programmes
  4. Previously engaged in sales
  5. A Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree in a social/ developmental field
  6. 2- 4 years of professional experience in the social/educational sector

 

Location: Rashtram School of Public Leadership, Rishihood University Campus, Sonipat, Haryana

 

Compensation: Rs. 40,000-50,000 per month

 

Nature of Role: Permanent

 

Reporting to:  Sr. Manager (Marketing)
