ePolicy BootCamp (ePBC) is a two-week online bootcamp focused on India’s public policy & governance, leadership and nation-building. It serves as a launchpad for aspiring public leaders, and policy enthusiasts in various domains. ePBC has been carefully designed to deliver holistic learning experience and mentorship to the future leadership of the nation.
ePBC uses a customised learning management system that becomes a go-to central for Delegates’ enhanced learning and engagement.
Centralised platform tracking for sessions, interactive quizzes, assignments, discussions to ensure that you don’t miss out on any component.
Tracking performance of each delegate across the programme components and rewarding delegates as they progress through their learning journeys.
The scope of the programme and the magnitude of indulgence of delegation planned by the organizers is very thoughtful and effective – it variably fits delegates according to their own expectations and further encourages them for the unanticipated stimulated interests in them. Whether you are interested to literally use this as a launchpad for your professional career or just add to your CV and cocktail party knowledge, the scope and planned engagements has enough freedom for you to know what you would want to know and be involved according to your convenience. The queue of speakers at the programme would initial baffle you, since most of them are already famous for their respective fields of work (which was the main reason for me to apply for the programme)
ePBC was completely in line with my expectations from VIF in terms of helping us understand public-policy in greater detail. A short and intensive program, ePBC is a blend of theory and practice, helping delegates get a glimpse of what is it like to be a policy practitioner. Right from the deep learnings given by the speakers to the readings and book recommendations shared by the VIF team, policy bootcamp is an effective launch pad for those wanting to enter the field of policy. Despite having 3 years of relevant work experience in the field, I feel that I have learned immensely by participating in ePBC 2020.
ePBC is a great platform for learning as well as expressing one’s opinions. It is a great kickstart course for the ones who want to delve into the policy domain. The program is designed in an interactive manner which includes various kinds of discussions, activities, quizzes and master classes. The diversity of the speakers and the delegates is what makes the program interesting. The activities such as policy analysis, policy formulation and policy simulation let us explore the realities of the world. Idea Hatt is worth all the appreciation as it brings out the best idea of every individual! This program just doesn’t enhance your knowledge but also lets you be a better person. It teaches you to respect, understand and shows you the real meaning of togetherness. You don’t just take back learnings but also a lot of memories to cherish for life.
Apart from an enriching learning experience ePBC gave me an arsenal of nation-building tools to develop and an army of people to share ideas with. My faith in institutional democracy is restored. I promise to commit to the path VIF has set for us.
Last date for submission of application in Phase 1 is 8 November 2020.
Had a wonderful interaction with 150+ Policy Boot Camp participants of VIF at Sonepat. Many educated young Indians are public-spirited, passionate, skilled and intelligent; several have worked for years for public causes. We need to create avenues for them to rise in leadership.
