Biography

Ambar Chandra Sinha is a general management and policy professional. His interests are in the fields of strategy, decision science, public sector innovation and consumer behaviour. He was previously associated with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs as a Fellow in the India Smart Cities Fellowship Program where he conceived and developed India’s first incentive economy model using Nudge Theory. Prior to that, he has worked for 7 years in government consulting, hyperlocal delivery and cleantech across multiple global and domestic geographies. He set up the smart cities consulting practice for the largest Indian infrastructure consulting firm. He was also pivotal in developing and providing 20,000 Indian dairy farmers with access to off-grid milk chilling solutions. Ambar is currently a student at IESE Business School, Barcelona, pursuing an MBA on a full-scholarship. He is an alumnus of Manipal University from where he holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
