Biography

Shubham Verma is a Vision India Fellow and Development Associate. His area of interest is constituency management and rural development. Currently, he is engaged in various activities of rural development in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, trying to understand the key issues. He is also engaging the local youth who can discuss and solve these problems in the future.

Shubham and his team in Vidisha actively work in a Dalit basti to improve their socio-economic situation & lifestyle. Shubham also teaches at various govt. schools to improve the learning abilities of children. He created an online community platform www.myvidisha.in for the people of Vidisha where they can share their views in the form of blogs, articles, poems and so on.

In the future, Shubham Verma plans to start a social purpose organisation which can solve the problems of the villages of his district Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. He also wishes to be an elected representative of his constituency.
