Brief info

Born in Ghunghasi Village, Mr. Mahesh Sharma moved to Datiya District where he completed his education. Later, he moved to Jhabua in 1998 and started to work for the tribal community. He started by traveling village to village extensively to identitify real issues faced by people in Jhabua. He has been observing the culture as well as trying to find the best methods to bring development and awareness at grass root level.

Over past more than 18 years he has been indulged in community development and creating awareness in tribal areas of Madhya Pradesh. For his tremendous work in tribal region he has been recently awarded Padmashree by Government of India.


Rashtram School of Public Leadership produces ‘self-aware’ and ‘civilisationally assured’ public leaders who are nourished by Indic Knowledge traditions and systems of thought. The specific focus of the school is to prepare leaders in three domains - Academia, Politics, and Community.
